MUKADIMAH
Its been quite some time..20 years!!!.. to be exact since we have a large scale gathering..(tu pun masa commission). So, in conjunction with 20 years since we last hoo-haa...(1989-2009..that's a damn long time bro!) lets arrange something to remember by..something that brings back nostalgia n memories ..something to talk about, to chit-chat and bring laughter among us...like old days.
Purpose of this gathering, so-called reunion is just to have an informal dinner/get together session among others. Frankly, the idea was seriously mooted during my meeting with Lt.Kol Sobirin quite sometime ago before he left for K.Tganu..(once again bro..congrats on yr appointment!). He promised to assist all he can at his professional capacity to ensure this propose gathering materialize. YES..we gona do it in ITM Dungun! ..and thanx to Lt.Kol in advance since he already started the ball rolling by getting Prof Madya Zaid UITM Dungun to assist as well, in terms of accomodation & activities.
Also, congrats in advance to Tuan Thanthawi..since i've heard that tuan will be promoted to Brig.Jeneral. We look forward for Brig.Jen to belanja teh tarik! I'm sure Tuan Thanthawi & Ustz Shukran will assist as well when dealing with ITMT matters.
Ok..lets get serious & pls discuss on this proposal;
PROPOSAL
1) PLAN
Re-union of batch ITM Rotu 1989-1992 (or in between)
2) PARTICIPANTS
All ex-cadets, YO's, Officers, Staff since July 1989 until 1992 including our batch intermediate & juniors (those that we know).
3) VENUE
UiTM Terengganu
4) DATE
Tentatively in September/October - we will try to set a date where its coincide with school holiday/any public holiday. Proposed dinner on Saturday nite & next Sunday morning some local activities by ROTU ITMT. (I've spoken to Buji, he wants to command the perbarisan!..hahaha).
Date to consider;
i) at least can bring family along...sapa2 yg nak bawa family la
ii) at least can bring gf - sapa2 yg tak kahwin lagi la.. dah kahwin tapi nak bawa gf pun bule..kalu ada!
iii) those that live so far (Sabah/Swak etc), at least can have time to plan booking flight AirAsia or Firefly... murah sikit..(i understand).
ORGANISING COMMITTEE
Basically, to really facilitate this event, we need a committee to ensure this will be a very successful & meaningful for all of us. Therefore, i proposed the below names to spearhead this event. We're well aware that all of us are damn busy with work & stuff, (some dont even have time for meet-up for cup of coffee), but for those who's willing to contribute their time & energy, please do so!
By the way, sapa2 yang nak bangkang this appointment thinking that they can do a better job....please please ...u're welcome!

3) CEO (Chief Entertainment Officer)- haaaa.. tang yang ni aku nak..aku tak kira! ...mesti aku buat program chak kunchak.
4) TREASURER- sapa lagi..PENG (Fauzi Shamsuddin).. yang lain pasai duit memang aku tak percaya!
5) ACCOMMODATION - SOBRAN - pasal bab tidoq, dia memang cekap.
6) P.R - Lt.Kol SOBIRIN (senang sikit - dia boss kan..ada banyak balaci)
7) FOOD & BEVERAGE- AhChong - bro, pls remember..makanan yg halal saya dibenarkan!
SOUVENIR
Proposed that we do some kind of souvenir/momentos for remembrance to commensurate this meaningful event. Therefore, i believe Buji will be the best person to in-charge coz heard being a besi scrap businessman he's able to squeze good price from his suppliers...macam biasa! Just please dont come out with necktie..coz not everybody is executive/boss! At least something else...like a watch with a logo inside...but must be affordable to everybody. I've seen a friend of mine from MCKK wearing a custom-made Oris watch with a nice logo inside. Of coz Oris ..busuk2 dalam RM3 ribu. But as Capt. Shamsuddin used to say..`ada gaya'. AhChong & his loving big brother Y.O Saifuddin wil love it for sure! I wish to propose we try get something more affordable, like Tissot...price range now around RM500-RM1k. It's still a swiss-made watch n guaranteed will last forever...turun temurun. Anyway..this is just a suggestion..and please suggest if u have anything else. Buji please take note!
IMPORTANT NOTES
Hope that everybody from our batch will be able to attend this event. This is something that we all should look forward to after so long we didnt meet each other. At least before we all get older, before some of us..or all of us menyembah bumi ..we will have this last bigtime gathering to catch up with lost times. To those that MIA and undetected like cadet Johanes, Mat Terbalik, Ustaz, Mukhriz, Kamal, Mat Pot, Boroi, Botak, Sinora dan ramai lagi.. PLEASE contact them if u know their whereabout.
Also, this gathering should be for all that we know during our times at ITMT, including those our Intermediate n Junior. The more the merrier! So, please forward this email to those guys/ladies that you have in contact with.
Lastly, ALFATIHAH to our buddies that already left us...Jasni (parjo) & Wan Azhan. Even until now when think of them..really really make me sad. Semoga Allah swt merahmati roh arwah & menempatkan di kalangan mereka yang beriman.....amin.
PENUTUP
Ok..i've done my part by let this ball rolling...so your participation and attendance..everyone & each of you..are highly appreciated. Jangan asyik dok take cover aje! Please refer the spreadsheet below & update your personal particulars and email it back to me. I will try to do my very best to update you all once i get the complete list.
